SACGC TOOL POOL TOOL LIBRARY SACGC is creating a tool library or tool pool where tools may be checked out or loaned to Community or School Gardens. These tools could include tillers, shredders, weed eaters, and the standards rakes, shovels, hoes, picks etc. This program will help save rental costs for schools and community gardens. Items can be reserved for up to 2 days at a time. Save time and energy in Spring and Fall tilling and shredding. Going to have a community work day? Reserve the needed tools for the job. Program will be open to schools and community gardens and other special community projects. Requirements are that group borrowing tools will attend 4 monthly meetings of SACGC and occasionally help staff the information table at locals events. As an added bonus.....by attending the SACGC meetings you will also be eligible to get FREE tools to keep for your project. Contact us for information.
